I got my start in fashion as a finance analyst at a clothing company. But I quickly realized that my true calling was not to crunch numbers on spreadsheets—it was to teach women how to dress, and as a result, feel great about themselves.

You see, friends and family members have always come to me for fashion first aid. Helping others find their own personal styles is the most rewarding task I’ve ever done. I can barely describe the joy I feel when I’ve helped someone find that elusive perfect outfit—they stand taller and straighter and tell me they feel more confident. It’s incredible to witness these transformations. One of those friends finally told me, “You’re amazing at this. You should be doing this for a living!” Well, that was the beginning of The Closet Shopper.

When embarking on a wardrobe makeover, I tell my clients, “Let’s go shopping in your closet!” Closet shopping will transform your mismatched, random items into fashionable, original outfits. And I’ve been known to open my own closet to my friends and family, “shopping” through my clothes to find the perfect finishing touches for their outfits.
